What is an Upgrade Authentication Code (UAC)?

An Upgrade Authentication Code (UAC) is a temporary license code that is issued when you purchase an upgrade through one of our Partners. Before using your upgrade, you must activate it by entering both the UAC and your old license code in our online Upgrade Wizard or by providing both numbers to a customer service representative. After you validate your code, you will receive a new license code via e-mail within 24 hours. This license code allows you to use your new upgrade.
