Retrospect Novus is an optional, modern user interface that can run alongside the classic Retrospect interface. Installing Novus is recommended for accessing capabilities that are not available in the classic interface.
Monitor and manage Retrospect while the classic Windows application runs in the background.
Use Split View during restore preparation to compare backup contents side by side.
Expand only the folder you choose to browse in a volume or backup, eliminating the classic Windows application's wait for all nested folders to load.
Manage supported Windows, Mac, and Linux engines over the local network.
Run multiple Novus instances on the same or different displays, with each instance managing a different engine.
Continue using the classic interface for established functionality that is not yet available in Novus.
