# Retrospect Solo 18 for Windows System Requirements

System Requirements

## Supported Operating Systems

Retrospect supports 64-bit versions of the following editions:

- Microsoft Windows 11
- Microsoft Windows 10
- Microsoft Windows 8
- Microsoft Windows 7
- Microsoft Windows Vista

#### Supported Hardware

- Intel processor (64-bit only) with one or more multicore processors

#### System Recommendations

- Latest Service Pack for Windows
- 1 GB RAM for each concurrent activity; 4 GB RAM minimum
- 10-15 GB of temp hard disk space for each concurrent activity (backup, restore, etc.)
- Adequate storage for backups
- Meet Microsoft’s guidelines on RAM requirements for the OS version
