# Retrospect Client for Windows 32-bit EOL Notice

Retrospect Backup Client for Windows 18.5.3 will be the last 32-bit Windows client that Retrospect supports. In the next release, Retrospect will only support 64-bit clients.

This change only affects a small number of legacy Retrospect users. Microsoft ended support for Windows XP in 2014 and for Windows 7 in 2020. Customers will not have any issues if they are using later versions of Microsoft Windows.
