# Restoring with or without Use Attribute Modification Date When Matching

As of Retrospect Backup 16 and higher, when performing a restore, the restore wizards default to using "Use attribute modification date when matching".

If you need to restore without that feature, you’ll need to create a restore script and disable that option in the Options section.
