# Microsoft Active Directory 2008 not backed up with Retrospect 7.6

A bug in Retrospect 7.6 prevents the backup of active directory on Windows 2008 server. This problem is fixed in [Retrospect 7.7 and higher](http://retrospect.com/updates).
