# Data Hooks: How to Customize Dashboard Layout

Hooks

Follow these steps to customize the layout of the dashboard data hooks:

1. Visit our open-source repository for Data Hooks on GitHub: [https://www.github.com/retrospectinc/datahooks](https://www.github.com/retrospectinc/datahooks).
2. Download the index.xml file and save it to your Retrospect configuration folder.
3. Windows: C:\ProgramData\Retrospect\datahooks\index.xml

Mac: /Library/Application Support/Retrospect/datahooks/index.xml

1. Change the order of the data hooks in the XML file and save the file again.
2. Re-launch Retrospect Console (on Mac) or Retrospect Dashboard (on Windows).
